bluebed: Continuing with my favorite writer sketches, Franz Kafka. I love his bleak absurd humor dearly, The Trial is probably my favorite novel (Orson Welles’ adaptation is also brilliant, in my opinion his greatest work). There’s such a strange passion about his disconnected voice, so lucid & unsentimental, yet ultimately warm & moving.
